Q: What are some ways to help each multiple feel special?

A: One technique is to allocate one day of the week or month as that multiple’s special day. On that day the child gets to be the decision maker or King/Queen of the day. For example, the child can decide where to sit in the car, push all the elevator buttons, and have a special place to sit at mealtime. The child can even be allowed to choose a favorite dish. Another great way to build individual relationships with each child is to take one child on errands or planning a special outing with that child once a month. Parents can also allow each child take turns staying up 20 minutes or so later for one-on-one time with Mom and Dad.
