Q: Will my multiples fight each other, and what can I do?

A: Children fight, and multiples are no exception. some fighting is normal, but parents have many ways to help deal with it or limit the amount of fighting. Try to set a routine or plan an activity during particularly high stress times that will have the children working together and not fighting. Discourage tattling. Try not to take the role of referee unless arguments get out of hand. Show positive attention when the children are behaving. Stick to your word no matter what, and be consistent. Allow children to experience the consequences of their behavior.
