Q: How do I manage chores with multiples?

A: As one mother put it, when one member of the family doesn’t do his or her fair share, that person disrespects the whole family. The most popular consensus is starting the children helping around the house as early as possible (age 2) with very simple chores. Each child should be assigned age appropriate tasks, then increase the children’s responsibilities as they get older. Some families have found unique and fun ways to organize the chores and even reward chores well done. They range from charts to index cards, rewards, and rotating chore system.
