If you would like to send items and gifts to a family, please email us at lisaddibona@yahoo.com and we will provide shipping information and instructions.
Family #1 – If you’d like to make a general donation to the Adopt a Family program, we will do the shopping for you for any families that are not adopted, added to the program late, or that need help during the year. You may make a donation online. Be sure to mark the ‘Please apply this donation to the AAF program’ box under Donor Information. Thank you! Family #2 – ADOPTED This Midwest family has 3-month-old triplet girls and 3 older siblings, boys 7, 4, 1.5. This hard-working family have hit some hard times as one of their triplets is sick and they need to travel quite a way to get treatment. They could use a gas card or gift card. They live near a Walmart
Family #3 – ADOPTED This southern family has 9-year-old triplets boys – one boy wears size 8 and two boys size 10, plus a 17 year old boy in men’s medium and a 14 year old girl who wears a women’s small. Mom struggles to make ends meet and we’d like to help this family have a special holiday this year.
Family #4 –ADOPTED This southern, young military family has 1.5-year-old quads 3 girls and a boy. Dad will be deploying in December. The children wear sizes 12 months to 18 months old clothes– 1 son has autism. The children could use pants, long sleeve tops and onesies. They like blocks, dinosaurs. They live near a Walmart
Family #5 –ADOPTED This southern military family has 3-year-old quads plus a 8-year-old and live thousands of miles from family. They recently moved for better opportunities for their children, two of whom have autism. Dad expects to deploy soon and we’d like to make their holiday a special one before he leaves. The 8-year-old girl wears size 12 clothes and loves Hello Kitty, dolls, bright colors art and crafts. One of the boys wears size 4T-5T and loves anything with wheels, monster trucks, Blippi, Blues Clues and sensory toys like squish balls and foam rollers. The second boy wears size 4T and loves pirates, balls, digging toys and playdough. The third boy wears size 2T-3T and loves Blippi, Blues Clues, dinosaurs, anything musical and coloring. The girl wears 3T and loves all things princess and fairy, animal, books and coloring
Family #6 – ADOPTED Army family – 2.5-year-old quads plus twins – all girls. Her husband is in the military, attending school to enhance his career. The twins are 5 years old and the quads are 2.5 years old. With this full, busy house there are needs for clothing as well as developmental toys.
Family #7 – ADOPTED – This northwest family has twins. One just got a kidney transplant and one needs one. We’d like to help them get through this difficult time.
Family #8 – This loving family was hit hard by the hurricanes. They have been pooling resources to help their neighbors. The have 5-year-old quads, two boys and two girls, plus two other children. The quads all wear size 5T. The 6-year-old girl wears size L and the 9-year-old girl wears size XL. They need to replace quite a bit in their house, so we’d like to help them with the fun stuff for the kids this holiday season
Family #9 – Twin boys born in November at only 29 weeks, weighing under 3 pounds each. This family has been very supportive of other families in the NICU and we’d like to support them. They live near a Walmart
Family #10 – ADOPTED – a boy and a girl 2.5 years old. They spent almost 4 months in the NICU. Mom is in school working towards her degree. They wear toddler 7/8, Pants and long sleeve shirts coats, jackets 2T boy, 3T girl
Family #11 – This mid-west family has a 4-year-old boy and 6 month old triplet girls. The boy wears size 5T clothes and needs underwear, sock, size small. He likes monster trucks, hot wheels, Legos, blaze and the monster machines, drawing, coloring and team Spidey. The girls wear size 6-9 month clothes and like all baby toys. They wear size 6-9 month clothes and could use size 6-12 month old sleep sacks.
Family #12 – This northwest coast family has 1-year-old twin girls with a genetic disorder causing kidney failure. Mom had to stop working, to care for the girls. They must travel to the hospital and stay over-night regularly. The girls love toys and books they can take with them. The 9-year-old boy wears size 12/14 or large. He likes building things, cards and board games, Legos and books – big into space and astronauts. The 13-year-old girl wears woman’s size large or size 16/18 and likes art books, sports, crafts, board games and animals.
Family #13 – North West coast family has 2 year old twin boys. Both boys have feeding tubes, but are otherwise happy and healthy toddlers. The boys wear size 24 month / 2T. We’d like to help Mom this holiday season with some toys for the boys. This family lives near a Walmart.
